Free summer film-making project for young people in Ashford – 12/14/16 August

FlowFilm is our free summer film-making project for young people, aged 10-15.

Attending three morning workshops, young people will work with a professional filmmaker (Jasper Bouverie of Funder
Films CIC), turning clips shot on phone or tablet into a finished video, learning how to edit, add music and voice-overs. They can make any kind of film they want – creative, factual, story-based – but it must feature the River Stour at some point and be about 1 to 3 minutes long.

No previous experience necessary – beginners are welcome. The venues will be well equipped and activity leaders are DBS checked. No special equipment required – you can use any smartphone, tablet or camera with a video setting.

Workshops are taking place in Canterbury and Ashford:

IN CANTERBURY:
August 5th, 7th, 9th (9.30 am to 12.30 pm)
at Canterbury College

IN ASHFORD:
August 12th, 14th and 16th (9.30 am to 12.30 pm)
at Ashford School
